How do I find out my sizes for press ons?
Although optional the highly recommended and most accurate way is by ordering a sizing kit.

I utilise multiple methods for press on nail sizing. I’m happy for any method of your choice to be used as long as you accept that there will be no refunds, no returns, no exchanges and no replacements for incorrect sizing as sizing is the customers responsibility. Please don’t guess your sizing.
There are alternative methods listed on our press on information page but these are to use at your own discretion as we are not responsible for sizing errors. Customers are responsible to ensure the length chosen covers their nail beds. If you’re in between sizes it’s best to size up slightly as you can always file down the sides and cuticle area if needed. Sizing up slightly by 1mm is always better than sizing down as material can be filed away but cannot be added. Even if you’ve ordered press on nails from another artist before you’ll still need a sizing kit from myself as tip brands and sizing vary from artist to artist. We also sell ready to wear sizing kits which are made to order sets in all sizes available in your selected shape and length, so you can find out your sizes for future orders and also get 1-2 full wearable and reusable sets from the ready to wear sizing kits. All nail beds are different so a sizing kit helps you asses how each shape will fit your nail beds. Sizing does vary slightly between shapes/lengths so please order a sizing kit in each one you want. For example: if you purchase a sizing kit in “Long Almond”, this does not mean that you will be the same size in “Medium Coffin” and so on. Customers are responsible to ensure the length chosen covers their nail beds. Nails can be cut to a different length if required so please measure the length of your nails. Leave any length change requests in the notes section please. All square lengths are exactly the same sizing as they’re the same XL tips cut down to the desired length. If your finger nails are wider than 18mm or toe nails are wider than 21mm then unfortunately my press on nails will not fit you.
Do I still need a sizing kit if I have one from another press on artist?
Yes! Many press on artists use different brands of nail tips which often vary in sizing. Sizing can also vary between different shapes and lengths. Ordering a sizing kit in your chosen shapes and lengths from my website before ordering press ons from me is the best way to avoid incorrect sizing. Sizing does vary slightly between shapes/lengths so please order a sizing kit in each one you want. For example: if you purchase a sizing kit in “Long Almond”, this does not mean that you will be the same size in “Medium Coffin” and so on. All square lengths are exactly the same sizing as they’re the same XL tips cut down to the desired length.
Do you offer any other shapes or lengths than on your shape chart?
No, all my shapes/lengths/style are listed on my website. Although I do have alternative square tips that are sculpted and have a built in apex that may suit higher nail beds better than my natural ones shown. Just contact me for more information or leave a note when ordering.
What if the nails do not fit?
Unfortunately you would have to reorder as due to the nail sets being handmade and made to order no refunds, no remakes, no replacements and no returns can be issued. To make sure your nails fit perfectly, make sure to order a sizing kit in the shape/length you desire. Sizing is always the customers responsibility. Customers are responsible to ensure the length chosen covers their nail beds. I make our essential sizing kits only £2.00 each to avoid incorrect sizing so avoiding ordering a sizing kit in each style is a personal choice for the customer. I can only make nails in the sizing or measurements given by the customer using the customers chosen sizing method, therefore sizing is the sole responsibility of the customer. You may send me your measurements in mm but I am not responsible for incorrect measurements or nails not fitting. When manually measuring it’s always best to add 1mm to be safe as you can always file the sides and cuticle area if too big but cannot add material if too small.
How can I order a custom design?
Email stephaniejessicanails@gmail.com with CUSTOM in the reference bar or DM via Instagram @stephaniejessicanails. You will have a custom consultation to confirm design details then be directed to this site to place your custom order. Custom designs inspired by other artists or pictures sent to me will not be exactly the same as the picture or inspiration picture but I’ll always try my best. For recreations please let me know the ig @ for the original artist so I can credit them on social media. Please do not expect exact matches to other artists work. If you would like pictures of your order before they’re packed and posted so we can check you’re happy with the outcome before posting them out please contact me and I’ll be happy to do so. I can make adjustments before they’re packed and posted if required.
What if I lose or break a nail?
You can buy replacement nails on our site. I am not responsible for lost or damaged nails once applied.
How do I remove the nails?
Allow up to 7-10 days after application before attempting removal to avoid discomfort or damage. Soak in warm soapy water with oil until loose enough to gently slide off. You can use the cuticle pusher provided in your application kit to assist you in manoeuvring the nails off once soaked sufficiently in water. Do not use chemicals on your nails if you plan to reuse them as chemicals will ruin the nails.
Are the press ons re-usable?
Yes, if cared for properly. If soaked off in soapy water you can allow them to air dry then file away any old glue with an inexpensive electrical nail file ready for the next use. If using glue tabs just gently wriggle the nails off after soaking in warm soapy water and remove the tabs with the cuticle pusher. Please avoid using chemicals on your nails if you plan to reuse them. Whilst my press on nails are strong and durable, nails are not indestructible and should be treated with care.
Whats included in a press on order?
Your custom press on nails (10 pieces unless stated otherwise in items description), application and removal instructions and an application kit with alcohol wipes, mini buffer, mini file, cuticle pusher, glue tabs and glue tube (Glue tube is UK orders only due to international shipping restrictions).
How long do press ons last?
Application is key, If applied correctly with the glue provided (UK only) or a good quality glue (I use and recommend makartt glue) 1-3 weeks depending on how heavy you are on your hands. If using glue tabs they will stay on up to 1-3 days with gentle use. To prolong wear do not use your nails as tools, avoid extreme/prolonged heat, wear gloves when cleaning/washing up and use cuticle oil daily. Whilst my press on nails are strong and durable, nails are not indestructible and should be treated with care. I am not responsible for the longevity of the wear of the nails as application and after care is the customers responsibility. Your first order will come with instructions on application and removal. What are your press on made from?
All the clear tips are 100% soft gel NOT plastic like store bought press ons. I offer acrylic press ons which goes beneath the colour gel polish as a base. All my acrylic press ons are finished with gel polishes and gel top coat. I offer a couple of gel options which are made with builder gel for strength. I use salon grade high quality professional products. I etch/file the back/inside of the nails as this helps with adhesion and I wipe every nail down thoroughly with alcohol before packaging so backs/inside of the nail may be slightly white.
Where do you ship to?
Worldwide shipping is available. I CANNOT ship to the USA at the moment. All orders are tracked. Tracked & signed is also available at an extra cost (recommended for extra safe delivery). Please double check your shipping address before payment as I cannot be responsible if you have input your address incorrectly. The customer is responsible for shipping address details. International orders should please allow up to 28 days after dispatch incase of custom delays. If your item says delivered but you have not received it you should contact the courier, I cannot help with this as courier issues are out of my control and not my responsibility. The customer is responsible for any customs charges eg. VAT, Tax or other fees after dispatch.
When can I expect to receive my order?
Once you place an order it is added to a queue of other orders and they are made in order of date orders were placed. The processing time (time it takes to make your order) is currently up to 10 working days. Once made and dispatched delivery in the UK is 1-3 business days and international delivery is 7-10 business days (weekends and holidays are not included). Any delays are out of our control and you must contact the courier. We are not responsible for courier mistakes, delays, damage or losses. For loss and theft of packages that say delivered please contact the courier. The customer is responsible for any customs charges eg. VAT, Tax or other fees after dispatch. All orders are tracked. Tracked & signed is also available at an extra cost (recommended for extra safe delivery). International orders should please allow up to 28 days after dispatch incase of custom delays. Please order nails in advance if you need them by a certain date as I don’t offer rushed orders and I am not responsible for shipping delays that may occur. If you have any problems with deliveries I’ll be more than happy to help contact the courier and enquire.
I have a problem with my order and need help?
For order issues or if you’re unhappy with your order please email me at stephaniejessicnails@gmail.com and please included your order number. I will always try my best to assist. If items are delivered defective or damaged (before application) you will be required to provide proof before a replacement is issued. Please contact me within 3 days after delivery to resolve any issues. After the 3 days the issue cannot be resolved so please check over your order once delivered. We are not responsible for damage or loss after application. Please be aware each product is handmade and may have minor differences between sets and may not be 100% symmetrical. A lot of time and effort is put into every set to make them as close to pictures in listings as possible. You cannot request refunds, returns, replacements or exchanges for simply changing your mind etc. I will only consider replacements for incorrect, damaged or defective items with proof and at my discretion. Refunds and returns will not be issued, no exceptions. Please refer to our policies before reporting sizing issues.
